Although I have experimented with various types of art and mediums, I believe my style can be traced back to my kindergarten days.

The teacher had given everyone a coloring sheet with grapes on it. I grabbed my purple crayon and didn’t hold back. When I finished I looked up to see who else was done. Much to my surprise I was the only one. Everyone else was painstakingly coloring each grape within the lines.Who has time for that?

My style hasn’t changed much from those kinder days. I paint expressively and intuitively while building layers of bold strokes and daring patterns that are fun and loose. And…I don’t do grapes. I do however love painting abstracts, flowers, angels, and old churches. And always outside the lines!
